John Barrowman from the TV series Torchwood is indeed gay. In fact, John Barrowman has known he was gay since the age of 9, and was openly out in his early teens.
Barrowman is currently in a strong relationship with Scott Gill, and says he has never been happier.
He also admitted that part of his homosexuality was not to blame on his parents. Although jokingly, he said that he got it off his dad as he would “occasionally crossdress”, sexuality has always been an open discussion in the Barrowman household.
