The question has been asked a lot over the past few months, is Lady Gaga a lesbian? Her new come fame has led her to become one of the most talked about figures in the world of pop music, with her biggest hits running straight into number one. However, has her persona done as well in the public eye as her music?
With the word that Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite, people have led to believe that maybe, she might also be a lesbian. In her song Poker Face, she talks about how she is “bluffin with her muffin”. And in the Jonathan Ross interview, this was then revealed to mean that she thought about women whilst having sex with her partner. Not something that all ladies do, that’s for sure.
After this interview, she was approached by a jouranlist from the Mirror, who questioned her on this subject. She then went on to talk about how she has been in lesbian relationships for nearly 10 years, and that out of choice, she’d definitely sleep with a woman than a man. “Are you a lesbian?”, Lady Gaga got asked. And her answer? “In short, yes I am”.

Does it matter what her sexual preferences are? Are any of us aspiring to date her? Things like this only serve as gossip and rumors to feed off of young women’s feelings. I’m bi, and I have lesbian, gay and straight friends. We’re all still the same people inside. Some of us just think that others are hot.

If you don’t, you don’t have to bash her every second you get. Just pretend she doesn’t exist. Also, for Gaga fans, I wouldn’t worry too much. Lady Gaga knows what the catches are to being popular and famous, and she knows there are haters out there. I’m pretty sure all the attention is what she wants, because she understands the system. The more outrageous she looks and acts, the more attention she’ll get, she’ll stay in fame longer. I’m sure she doesn’t want to fade away as “just another pop artist.” By the way, I am a Lady Gaga fan, but I’m certainly not a radical.

She came out with two very specific songs in her album, The Fame Monster..regarding her bisexual-ness. “Monster” & “So Happy I Could Die”. If you closely listen to the lyrics, you will notice she is not lesbian at all. Because along with men, she has interest for women as well.
