Paypal are gradually increasing their security, and Paypal accounts are getting harder to sign up with false information. This isn’t bad news of course, as it’s a step in the direction of weeding out Paypal scammers. However, it does mean for those who have been suspended on eBay, getting a new Paypal account may be harder than they thought.
Credit card verification is one of the main steps that Paypal use to verify your identity. They use the AVS system, and check the details you enter, with the details on the credit card. With a virtual credit card, you may enter any address you like – hence making this step in verification a much easier process. Here are some general steps for using a VCC to verify a Paypal account:
1. Buy a VCC from the reccomended VCC suppliers.
2. When buying, ensure that the name and address you give is the same to match your Paypal account.
3. Login to your Paypal account, and click on “steps to verify”.
4. Enter the details provided from your VCC.
PLEASE NOTE: You must ensure that your VCC has at least £1 or $2 balance on it before you attempt to verify, otherwise Paypal will reject the card.
