With many scripts on the market for running an incentive site, it can be hard to tell which scripts are better than others. In all honestly, there is little competition – but unless you have bought, downloaded and tested the scripts, there is no way to know this. Let’s start off with incentive scripts.
With the success of sites such as Freepay, the urge for people to set up incentive sites has blossomed. Lets face it, there is very little work required. People sign up, complete some offers, and you send them a free gift. But those wanting to set up an incentive site, don’t realise the tough bit; getting traffic and sign ups. There are several good methods to get traffic, but unless you provide a good service, few of such sites will stand out from the crowd and survive.
You have several options for which script to use to start an incentive site, and I’ll cover them all here.
Incentive Script – Basic incentive script for those wanting a smaller, low key incentive site.
PROS: Actually, there are no pros to this script, because currently the site will not allow either a demo view, or a purchase. When things have perked up, I’ll edit this review.
CONS: – You can’t buy the script
- You can’t view a demo
OVERALL: I’d stay well clear of this one.

Incentives Plus script – This is a fairly sound incentive package, offering all of the main features of an incentive site. However, there is still a lot that can be added to it. This script does not come encoded, so if you’re good at PHP, you’d be able to make some easy modifications yourself.
PROS: – Extensive and easy template system, making editing the site interface a doddle. Some scripts have templtes incorporated in the PHP script, but the separate HTML template system is great.
- Offers are weighted, so 1 offer could account for 1 credit, 10 credits, 1/2 a credit, etc. This means higher and smaller value offers can be scaled up accordingly.
- Instant crediting from Met Rewards. This means that when using this script with Met Rewards, there is no need to manually approve credits.
- Support ticket system making it easy to receive and keep on track of customer queries.
- Filter list to display certain users for certain search criteria or account content criteria.
- Code is not encoded, so modifying the script is very easy.
CONS: – Little protection for fraud, IE – same addresses, passwords, IPs, etc.
- No instant crediting for other affiliate networks.
- Few users options to modify or control users.
- Overall basic system to manage offers, users and sites.

Projekt IRS – Projekt IRS looks ike one of the better incentive scripts, and it could provide you with a good base to start an incentive website. However, as with several others incentive scripts, the main sales site is very buggy, leading you to question the support and future upgrades for this product. What’s more, is the script is fairly basic – and would need work to sustain a large user base.
PROS: – Fairly easy template editing system.
- Non encrypted code, meaning easy editing to add customizations.
- Ability to search for users against certain criteria.
CONS: – Basic script, little protection for fraudulent users.
- No instant crediting.
- Bad outlook for future updates and support
- Few user control options.

FSRevolution – FSRevolution is by far the most advanced incentive script on the market, and should be your definite purchase if you want to start an incentive site. Although it’s a hefty price of $300, its well worth the money. What’s more, is it’s backed by a very serious team of coders, who listen to your opinions to update the script.
PROS: – Great fraud prevention, with password, address, host and IP matching tools.
- Ability to search users on different sites, emails, usernames, and more.
- Add sites on the fly.
- Lots of options regarding offers, including offer weighting. Offers can be for example worth 1/2, 1/4, 1/1000 of a credit.
- Easy to edit template system, using SMARTY templates.
- Excellent personal support.
- A year of updates.
- Email system to mass email or individually email users.
- Change user status, eg – put users on hold, block them from support tickets, block them from orders, etc.
- Advanced support system, including canned responses.
- Instant post back crediting from all affiliate sites that accept postbacks.
CONS: – All script encoded other than templates.
- High price, extra costs for additional sites.

So, what’s the verdict? Well it’s fairly clear to see, that FSRevolution tops it as the best incentive script available. And if you think $300 is to much to fork out, then believe me – you won’t regret it.
