I've kept stick insects before but only common Indian ones. Anyone have any tips for keeping these? I have about 14 nymphs ranging from 1/4" to 1" in size. Currently feeding privet leaves, they don't seem to be too keen on bramble, and misting once per day. Any input would be greatly appreciated as there is very little to be found on google.. and most of it conflicts with other help... :-)

HI gemmajhill,
I will give you information on keeping black beauties.
They are Peruphhasma schultei,
originate from peru.
The females grow to 55mm and the males to 45mm.
They have a high breeding success rate.
They eat privet or lilac and honeysuckle(forsythia, jasmine)
They like moderate humidity so you should spray there vivarium every other evening.
If you require any other help with information please ask.
Richard.
