Hi. Here my Female Oxyopsis peruviana, its very long about 9 cm and very nice. It?s 10 months old.
At the moment I have 3 adults females, some adults males and hundreds nymphs. Also some oothecae.

Lovely photos Christian! I had some Peruviana a while back, nice little species.

Yea, they sure do have a nice threat display...never knew the Oxyopsis did this.

Neither did I! Do all mantids do this? And if so are they all the same or are they different in some species?

A lot of mantids do this, although I am unsure if all do. One species that does look fantastic in threat display is the Idolomantis Diabolica, you can look on terra-typica for photos.
