Hya there everyone. Today I rescued a target mantis (not sure of exact species cus they were just labeled target mantids) Hes/shes around 5cms big and had shed in a cricket box flat down with no humidity in the dark. i saw it had just recently shed but had i believe he has hardened already. Its badly crippled its front arms so bad that one arm points completely to the other side of the body and the other stays straight but draggs underneath it. and hes 6 legs on one side look ok and on the other side of it the legs look a bit weak and wobbily. its wings are still screwed up and not straight so its looking a bit of a mess. I hate calling it "it". Its really wobbily but he always try to get up.

I gave him a drink earlier via a droplet on my finger and just a few minutes ago i prekilled a cricket and gave it some of the cricket juices inside and she had a little nibble of it but didnt eat too much.

Hes in a small cricket keeper with damp tissue on the bottom with lots of twigs and has a slab of corkbark in for it.

How often should i feed it and how many times a day should i give it water.

Thanks

Firstly, is it an adult? Because if it is that badly crippled, they can have trouble when they next go to shed their skin.
Water wise, I would suggest just once per week. You would probably be best putting it in a separate container, and giving the container a good spray, and leave it drink whatever amount.
Feeding wise, try a few crickets every 2 days or so, that should be fine.
