This lovely insect had just emerged from it's shell. Can anyone help with its identification, or any more info about it.:eek:

This is a parasite wasp! Keep the Ooth enclosed in an escaped container and wait to see what else emerges. Usually you will have some mantis come out, unless it is full of wasps, which could happen. You just have to wait and see.

Actually, I think that is a mantis fly.
The small insect below the mantis fly looks like a parasitic wasp.
