I have been speaking more to the people who run the Mantis Study Group recently, they have told me that they would like articles on mantids to publish more newsletters.

If you are able to it would be great if you could write some articles - either species specific or about anything mantis related - or if you could let them publish an article you have already written.

At this moment in time they are not able to accept more members until there is a steady flow of articles to be published, they think it wouldn't really be fair to new members signing up if they don't get any newsletters.

If you do have any articles please e-mail me on cdsc18257@blueyonder.co.uk

Also if you have any questions feel free to ask them here

Please feel free to pass this on to anybody else who may be interested

Bringing this topic somewhat more back to life, I would really like to see the MSG kickstart again. If anyone knows any contacts of the previous staff of the MSG, email addys will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Ian

Hi,

Is there anymore news on the MSG? I know they stopped taking new members until they had new articles for their newsletter.

Cheers

Alan

Hi Chris,

long time no speak, hope your brother is well !

It so happens that the MSG is being reformed; myself and Graham are in the process of getting it running again. We have the go-ahead from Phill Bragg and Paul Taylor. Sheldon has been doing a lot of work on the web side of things, so there should be something fairly soon.

We'll be inviting all the old members from the members list.

It's about time an official society was formed, or reformed in this case.

Wish us luck !

Cheers, Rob.
